My Jakarta home

Greetings from very hot, sunny, noisy and smelly Jakarta! I arrived on Saturday night after a very long and tiring journey and checked in to a residence in which I had already booked a room during the summer. The rest of the trip went really well and I was picked up from the airport which was totally great. My room is really clean and nice, very much like a standard hotel room with my own bathroom, tv and so on.

On the 3rd and top floor of the building there is a huge terrass with the most amazing 360 degree view over Jakarta and a little kitchen - outdoors :) whenever I put a specific sign on the door, my room will be cleaned that day. And when I have dirty laundry, I only need to put it in a box outside my door in the corridor and it comes back washed and dried the next day. Same with rubbish, I just leave it outside my room. I think I'll be spoiled :)
