Random observations about Indonesia

- Nobody you don't know will keep a door open for you. If you keep a door open for a stranger coming after you, s/he will look confused.

- There's an obsession for nice smells. Public buildings, elevators, etc. have automatic sprayers which spray some nice smell every once in a while.


Also, anyone coming to Indonesia will notice that Finland and Indonesia don't have much in common. In fact, those countries have nothing in common at all. They are direct opposites of each other. Now after 5 weeks of life in Indonesia, I've finally come up with the only 2 things that those countries share:
- people's love for karaoke & coffee
- electric plugs are the same
